Draw it once, get everything out of it.
A drawing in draw.io is a picture. A flow in FlowConnect knows which device has which port and what is plugged into it, and that is why it can derive the rest of the documentation from it.

A cable that doesn't fit can't be drawn.
Every output has one signal type, and every input has a list of types it accepts. FlowConnect only allows a connection when the two match, and when both ports are still free.
That makes a flow more than a drawing: the cable list, the patch sheets and the pack list all come from the same data, so they never contradict each other.
